We somehow ended up at Walmart. My friends faked an injury so that they could ride the scooters. Eventually, one of the workers found them and one of my friends had to go put his back, while my other friend got away with it. Afterwards, we drove around some more and noticed some cops gathered around an apartment complex, we still have no idea what was going on there. One of my friends decided that he was still hungry so we then went to IHOP. Next, we drove over to camas and walked around under the train bridge just outside downtown camas. Then we went to round lake and walked around. By this time, it was close to four in the morning. We noticed a light across the lake. We yelled some stuff just to make noise and almost instantly the light went out. My friends got cold feet and so we decided it was time to head back and get to bed.
Saturday night was a pretty good one. I had a friend over that I have not seen in a while. We hung out for a bit and got some energy drinks from rite aid down the hill from my house. After that, we had dinner and went to church. Church was kinda boring, but at the end, we left and met up with another friend at crown park. We hung out at the park for a little bit, then we went to a store and they bought an esig. I on the other hand just bought a new lighter for my hiking pack. We then proceeded to go eat some food, and watch South Park. In no time at all, we were done and just drove around having fun.
Is it graduation yet? Senioridos has already hit me and it hit hard. There is less than a month till graduation and hopefully working full time. At the moment it looks like I might have a job working swing shift in Washougal at the Pendleton mill. I also need to get my '77 k5 blazer up and running for this summer. I hope to go missing in it and having lots of fun with my friends. Unfortunately, it still needs a transmission and tires. I might have found some tires for my blazer in portland and a transmission in Longview. Hopefully those work out. If they do , then my blazer should be able to drive in the beginning of June. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to drive it at graduation. I hope so.
Int. - Jason's house - 3am

The movie credits end. Jason continues to sit on the edge of the couch. He looks away from the screen and around the dimly lot room. Michelle and Amanda are curled up in the middle of the couch sleeping. Nick is standing up from his spot in the rocking chair next to the couch.
Jason
Your still awake?
Nick
Yeah, way to much caffeine for me to sleep.
Jason
Understandable.
Nick
I don't know how Amanda fell asleep though, I think she drank an entire case of dr. Pepper by herself.
Jason
I don't know how she does it either.
Jason stands up and walks to the back of the basement and grabs a few blankets. He walks back to the couch and puts the blankets over the girls.
Jason
Come on.
Jason heads up the stairs.
Nick
Where we headed?
Jason
Well if your not tired, you Michelle as well help me in the garage.
Nick
Sounds good to me.
Jason leads nick into the garage.
Nick
What are we going to so to it? Looks like it's just missing the suspension.
Jason
Technically yes.
Nick
Technically?
Jason
Yes in the fact that it only need it to drive, no in the fact that it's not everything I'm going to put in it.
Nick
What else?
Jason walks over to a box next to the car.
Jason
This
Jason pulls out a large blue bottle with large letters spelling NOS.
Nick
Oh you have got to be kidding me.
Jason
Oh yeah.
Nick
Your crazy.
Jason
I know, and I take pride in it.
Nick
Where are you going to put it? Your dead if it's seen.
Jason
I know, that's why I made this.
Jason walks over to the rear part of the car and opens the trunk.
Nick
Where exactly?
Jason
Right here
Jason lifts up the trunk floor and points at a small box welded to the body.
Nick
Won't it be seen from the underside?
Jason
Nope, take a look.
Nick crawls under the car.
Nick
Hand me a light.
Jason walks over to the tool ench and grabs a flashlight. He then hands the light to nick.
Nick
I don't see it. What did you do?
Jason
It's in the tank.
Nick
What?
Jason
I dropped the tank and made it a bit smaller by making a small section for the NOS to fit in without gas getting over it.
Nick
Wow
Jason
I did lose about three gallons of fuel capacity, but it's worth it.
Nick
I'll say, that's smart.
Jason
So you wanna help install it?
Nick
Sure!
Nick joins Jason at the car.
Jason
While I install the tank, you want to wire the switches?
Nick
Fine by me.
Jason
Alright, switches are on the top of the toolbox.
Nick
And the wires?
Jason
On the bench.
Nick walks over to the toolbox and workbench and grabs the switches and wires.
Jason
The wire strippers are on the top drawer in the toolbox.
Nick
Got them.
Jason
Ok, let's get to work.
Time passes.
Nick
Ouch!
Jason
What?
Nick
Just smashed my hand on the underside of the dash.
Jason
Hahaha
Nick
There's some sharp metal back here.
Jason
Alright I'll make a note of that.
Nick
The bottle in yet?
Jason
Yep, just finished.
Amanda walks into the garage.
Amanda
What is all the commotion?
Jason
Nick hurt himself.
Amanda
You alright?
Nick
Yeah, just hit my hand on the car pretty hard.
Amanda
Ok.
Jason
I thought you were sleeping.
Amanda
I was, until you two bozos woke me up.
Jason
Sorry about that.
Amanda
Have you guys gotten any sleep?
Nick
Nope.
Amanda
Why don't you get some? It's pretty late.
Jason looks at his phone.
Jason
It's only 5:30.
Amanda
Yeah, exactly, go to bed.
Jason
Fine fine.
Jason and Nick put down their tools and head inside.
Jason
Nick you can have the guest room across from my room.
Amanda heads back downstairs. Nick and Jason heads down the hall. Jason shows nick his room and then walks into his, shutting the door behind him.
Ext. - town outskirts - night.
Cars pull into an empty gas station. Jason and Nick soon enter with their cars. They park and wait outside their cars.
Nick
So this is your underground?
Jason
Yeah.
Nick
Not as big as I expected.
Jason looks at nick surprised.
Jason
Really?
Nick
Yeah.
Jason
This is pretty big.
Nick
Not as big as the one I came from.
Jason
And where was that?
Nick
A large city. We had probably twice the amount of cars.
Just as Nick says this, a large man walks up to Jason.
Jason
Hello Cameron.
Cameron
You ready to pay up?
Jason
Not really, I'm ready to be rid of your ass.
Cameron
We'll see.
Cameron turns around and walks off.
Nick
You owe him money?
Jason
Yeah.
Nick
But aren't your parents rich or something?
Jason
Yeah.
Nick
So why do you owe him money? Can't your parents pay?
Jason
Anything my parents pay, I have to pay them back.
Nick
Ah.
Jason
Well, better get over to the center, looks like they are about to start.
Nick and Jason walk over to where a group of people are beginning to form.
Cameron
Attention everyone! Let's begin.
A cheer comes through the crowd.
Cameron
The first race will be between me Jason, and two others. Who's interested? 200 entry.
Nicks hand shoots up.
Cameron
We have one, anyone else?
There is a long pause. Then a girl in the back raises her hand.
Cameron
Ah there we go.
Jason looks at nick.
Jason
What are you doing?
Nick
I came here to race. So I'm going to race.
Jason
Alright, fine.
Cameron
Alright, let's get this night started!
Cameron steps through the crowd towards Jason.
Cameron
(Gruffly)
Let's go.
Cameron walks over to his car and Jason walks to his. Nick stands and looks at Cameron for a moment, the  he walks over to his charger. He hops in and fires it up.
Nick
Gotta love that sound.
Cameron leads the group of four to the start line. A short girl walks up to each of the cars and collects the money.
Cameron
First one through town to the school wins.
Jason
You know the way nick?
Nick
Not off the top of my head.
Jason looks at Nick worriedly.
Nick
Don't worry. Cameron's running a supra, I can easily keep up with my engine.
Nick steps on the throttle and the charger roars. Jason smiles.
Starter
Let's get this race started!
Cameron
Your mine Jason.
Starter
3!
Jason revs his engine.
Starter
2!
Nick looks at Cameron.
Starter
1!
Cameron revs his engine, but nick easily drowns it out with the sound of the charger.
Starter
Go!
Jason dumps the clutch and slams the throttle. The firebirds tire lite up and Jason launches. Nick is already in the lead. Jason and Cameron are tired for second with the fourth driver closely behind. Cameron up-shifts and pulls away from Jason. Nick approaches the Corner.
Nick
To fast.
Nick quickly kicks the clutch and puts the charger sideways. Cameron takes advantage of nicks mistake and passes him. Jason follows right behind Cameron and passes nick.
Jason
Sorry nick, this ones mine.
Nick regains control and fights for third with the other driver. Jason rides Cameron's bumper down the straight section.
Cameron
Get off my tail!
Jason
Not gonna let you win Cameron.
The school fast approaches. Jason engages his nitrous. Just as he does, Cameron quickly swings in front of Jason cutting him off. Jason turns to avoid hitting Cameron. He barely misses hitting Cameron but losses control of his car.
Jason
Crap!
Jason's car spins around and slides off the road and into the ditch.
Jason
No!
Cameron drives into the school parking lot where people are waiting. Nick drives up and stops where Jason  drove into the ditch.
Nick
Jason! You alright?
Jason pulls himself out of the car through the window.
Jason
Yeah, I think so.
Nick
Hurry up and get over here. I think Cameron is coming back for you.
Jason
That can't be good.
Jason climbs the hill of the ditch to where nick waits. Jason looks down the road where headlights are coming towards them.
Jason
Get in the car!
Nick
What about your ride?
Jason
Forget it, it's not worth it.
Nick hops back into the charger and Jason climbs in beside him.
Jason
Get us out of here.
Nick
You got it.
Nick swings the car around and drives off away from the wrecked firebird.
Nick
What now?
Jason looks behind them where the headlights of Cameron's car have stopped at the wreck.
Jason
Doesn't look like he's following us.
Nick looks behind them to confirm.
Nick
Looks like it. So now what?
Jason
We need to get back to my place. I think the girls are still waiting for us to get back.
Nick
Alright.
Nick starts to head back towards Jason's house.
Jason
Make some random corners just to be safe.
Nick
Alright.
Nick makes some random turns and backtracks a few times just to make sure nobody is following them.
Jason
He's going to come after me next.
Nick
You can stay at my place.
Jason
That shouldn't be necessary. Cameron doesn't know my address I do t think.
Nick
Alright, my offer still stands though.
Jason
I appreciate it.
Nick once again heads towards Jason's house.
Int. - Jason's house - morning.

Jason walks into the kitchen. It is empty. Jason walks back to the guest room door. Jason can hear nick snoring loudly. Jason then walks to the basement stairs and heads down. He peaks around the corner at the bottom of the stairs. Amanda and Michelle are still asleep on the couch.
Jason
How do they sleep so long?
Jason walks back up to the kitchen and starts to make pancakes. Not long after the first batch is done, Michelle and Amanda walk up the stairs rubbing their eyes.
Michelle
What's that smell?
Amanda
I think someone's cooking.
They walk into the kitchen. Jason sits at the table and points at the pancakes on the counter.
Jason
Help yourself.
Amanda
Pancakes!
Amanda rushes forward and grabs a few pancakes. Michelle looks at Jason uncertainly.
Michelle
Will there be enough for everyone?
Jason
Don't worry, I made plenty.
Michelle
Alright.
Michelle grabs a few pancakes and joins Jason and Amanda at the table.
Michelle
Where's Nick?
Jason
Still sleeping.
Michelle
Still?
Amanda
They were up late in the garage.
Michelle
Oh, so when did yuk guys get to bed?
Jason
About four hours ago.
Michelle
(Shocked)
What? How are you awake?!
Jason
I don't know.
Amanda
Your probably just excited about your parts coming.
Michelle
Car parts, I should have guessed.
Jason
What? I'm a guy!
Michelle
Your family always is receiving car parts.
Jason
So?
Michelle
So, that's a lot!
Jason
Yep.
Amanda
You or your dad is always working on something.
Jason
I'm failing to see the problem.
Michelle
You never seem to see the problem.
Nick walks into the kitchen.
Amanda
Morning.
Nick
Morning.
Jason
Have some pancakes.
Nick
They smell good.
Michelle
They are!
Nick grabs some pancakes and joins the others at the table.
Nick
So what's the plan?
Nick takes a big bite of food.
Jason
Finishing up the car, there's a race tonight.
Nick
Really?
Jason
Yep, you can come if you want.
Amanda rolls her eyes.
Amanda
Your gonna get caught one of these days.
Jason
Probably but you know I need to win tonight.
Michelle
You always say that.
Jason
Yeah, but this time is different.
Michelle
How so?
Amanda
He made a bet.
Nick
What kind of bet?
bad kind.
Nick
How so?
Jason
I owe a lot of money to a guy named Cameron.
Michelle
Cameron?
Jason
Yeah.
Nick
Who's Cameron?
Amanda
An asshole that seems to think he owns everything.
Nick
Oh, that's not good.
Jason
Nope not at all.
Michelle
So if you win?
Jason
Then I'm fine, and my debt is gone.
Nick
And if you lose?
Jason
Then he takes my car, and what I owe already.
Michelle
Pretty big gamble isn't it?
Jason
I don't have a choice.
Amanda
Why?
Nick finishes his food and puts his plate in the sink.
Jason
I can't let my parents find out. If they do, I'll lose the car anyways.
Nick
Alright, I'm in. What do you want me to do to help?
Jason
You can help me get the car set.
Nick
Alright.
Nick and Jason head into the garage.
Amanda
I had no idea he was in that big of a mess.
Michel
Neither did I.
Michelle gets up from the table and goes back downstairs. Amanda follows her.
Jason
Thanks for your help.
Nick
No problem. Where's the race at?
Jason
Outskirts if town.
Nick
Ok, I'll be there.
Jason
Be careful, you don't want to get mixed in with this.
Nick
I think I already have.
Jason looks at nick.
Jason
I guess you have.
Ext. - parking lot - night
The group of teenagers leave the building and head to their respected vehicles.
Jason
Alright guys, we'll see you later!
Stacy
Bye!
Trevor
Bye!
Adam
Bye!
Nick
So should I just follow you?
Jason
Sure!
Michelle
I'll ride with Nick, just in case he gets lost.
Michelle gives Amanda a wink.
Amanda
Alright, I'll ride with Jason, since it is my car.
Jason
Ok, just meet me at the exit.
Nick
Alright
Nick and Michelle walk over to nick's charger and climb in.
Amanda
Come on, let's go.
Amanda climbs into the passenger seat of her car and Jason gets behind the wheel. Jason starts the car and heads towards the exit.
Amanda
Where are they?
Jason
Here they come.
The charger pulls up behind Jason. Jason leaves the parking lot and drives up to the light. Nick pulls up next to him.
Jason
Hey Nick!
Nick
Yeah?
Jason
How fast is she?
Nick
Faster than you.
Jason smiles and shakes his head.
Jason
We'll see.
Amanda looks at Jason and shakes her head.
Amanda
You just never can resist can you?
Jason
Nope.
Jason revs the engine. Nick responds with revving his engine as well. The light turns green and and both vehicles tear away from the line.
Amanda
(Sarcastically)
This should be fun.
Jason
I refuse to lose to him.
The charger easily pulls away from Jason off the line.
Jason
Does he even know where he's going?
Amanda
Probably, remember, Michelle is with him.
Jason
Oh! That's right! Alright then, we'll see if they take the shortcut or not!
Amanda
Shortcut?
Jason
Yeah, there's an alley way coming up on the right that shaves off a couple blocks.
Amanda
You hit anything, and you pay for it.
Jason
That's fine, cause I'm not going to hit anything.
Amanda
We'll see...
The the two cars approach the alleyway. As the cars get closer, Jason slows down a bit. Nick continues past the alleyway. Jason slams on the brakes and makes a hard right turn.
Jason
Good, he didn't take it. I may have a chance now.
Jason exits the alley way and gets back onto the road. Jason looks behind him and doesn't see headlights.
Jason
I think I might have lost him.
Jason takes a left and the down a straightaway. Nick's charger appears out a side street and catches some air. The charger hits the ground and sparks fly up from underneath where the car scrapes the ground.
Jason
Where did he come from?!
Amanda
Looks like he knows some tricks also.
Nick pulls up on the left side of Jason. Nick looks over and gives a nod and a smile. Michelle waves.
Jason
Come on car, give me something.
Nick easily pulls away from Jason.
Jason
Come on!
Amanda
Well, you lost that one.
Jason
Rub it in why don't you.
Nick pulls into the driveway and Jason follows closely behind.nick parks on the left side of the driveway and Jason pulls right next to him. Nick and Michelle climb out of the charge and wait. Jason and Amanda get out of Amanda's car.
Nick
Nice driving, almost had me.
Jason
Where did you come from? I thought I had you beat for sure.
Nick
Michelle told me of a side street that I could take.
Jason looks over at Michelle. Michelle smiles.
Amanda
How about we head inside, it's cold out here.
Jason
Alright.
Jason walks up to the garage and enters the pin to open it. The garage door opens and the four walk into the garage. Nick looks over to Jason's project.
Nick
Nice ride.
Jason
Thanks, should be ready tomorrow.
Jason leads the group into the house.
Jason
Make yourselves at home.
There's food in the fridge, soda in the garage, bathrooms are down the hall to the left.
Jason leads nick over to a room on the other side of the kitchen.
Jason
The main dinning room is here.
Jason walks through the dinning room to a side door.
Jason
And here is the entrance to the basement.
Jason leads nick down the stairs. At the bottom, Jason flicks a light switch. The basement lights up.
Nick
Nice!
Jason
Yeah.
Nick
This place is huge!
Jason
Yeah it is.
Nick
Dude! You even have a projector!
Jason
Yep, that was put in last week. The girls don't know about it yet, we moved the giant flat screen that was down here to the living room.
Amanda comes running down the stairs.
Amanda
Jason! What's the flat screen doing in the living room?
Amanda looks at the projector.
Amanda
Ooooooohh, that's why.
Jason
Yep, got it last week.
Nick
Cool isn't it?
Amanda
Yeah it is!
Amanda darts up the stairs.
Amanda
Michelle! Come check this out!
Michelle
What is it?
Amanda
Just come here.
Michelle
Fine.
Michelle comes down the stairs with Amanda.
Michelle
What is it?
Michelle notices the projector.
Michelle
Oh, that's new.
Amanda
Yeah! It's even bigger than the flat screen!
Michelle
Where is the flat screen?
Jason
Upstairs in the living room.
Michelle
Really? I didn't see it.
Michelle runs back up the stairs and into the living room.
Michelle
Found it!
Michelle runs back down the stairs.
Michelle
(Sarcastically)
Well I'm observant.
Jason, Nick, and Amanda laugh.
Amanda
Let's watch a movie!
Nick
Like what?
Michelle
I like SiFi.
Amanda
Works for me.
Jason
I have firefly.
Nick
Haven't seen that in a while.
Jason
I'll go get it. It's upstairs.
Amanda
I'll grab some drinks.
Michelle
Nick and I will grab some food.
The four climb the stairs. Jason goes to the living room, Amanda walks into the garage, and Michelle grabs food from the kitchen with nick's help.
Amanda
Where are the drinks?
Jason
Next to the fridge on the left.
Amanda
Got them!
Jason
I got the movie.
Nick
We will be there in a minute, the popcorn is still in the microwave.
Jason
Alright
Amanda
Jason could you help me carry these sodas down?
Jason
Yeah, I'll be right back.
Jason runs down the stairs and quickly runs back up to help Amanda.
Jason
Ok what do you need me to carry?
Amanda hands him a few cases.
Amanda
Here take these.
Jason
Woah, how many do you think we will be drinking?
Amanda
A lot.
Jason
Ok fine.
Michelle opens the microwave door and grabs the popcorn.
Michelle
Popcorn's done.
Michelle quickly drops the popcorn on the counter.
Michelle
Ouch! That's hot!
Nick looks over and starts to laugh.
Michelle
That's not funny! That hurt!
Nick
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
Michelle
Suuuuure.
Jason, Amanda, Nick, and Michelle walk back down to the basement with the food and drinks. Jason pops in the movie and they begin to watch.
Ext - laser tag center (downtown) - night
Jason pulls into the parking lot. Amanda and Jason are the last ones to arrive. Jason and Amanda step out of the car and walks towards the group waiting in front of the building.
Trevor
'Bout time you got here.
Jason
Sorry, I was working on my car.
Stacy
Your always working on that thing.
Adam
It almost done yet?
Jason
Yep, the suspension should arrive tomorrow. That's all that's left.
Trevor
Awesome!
Adam
Jason, I want you to meet Nick. He's a grade younger and a car guy too. I think you guy will get along just fine.
Jason
Oh! So your a car guy? What do you drive?
Nick
1970 dodge charger r/t. Built her myself.
Nick points to the dark shadow of a car sitting a few spaces away.
Jason
No way! Can I check it out?
Nick
Sure!
Nick and Jason walk away from the group over to the charger.
Michelle
(Sarcastically)
Great, now there's two of them.
The group bursts into laughter.
Jason
I heard that!
The group instantly falls silent only to erupt laughing once again. Jason looks over and notices an unsure look from Nick.
Jason
Don't worry about them. They're just having some fun.
Nick
Ok, if you say so.
Jason
Anyway, how long did it take you to build her?
Nick
Close to four years. It was a rolling chassis when I bought it. All new engine and transmission. The engine is custom built by me.
Nick unlocks the charger and pops the hood. Jason lifts the good up. Jason takes a look inside.
Jason
New everything it looks like.
Nick
Yep. My dad helped me build her and paid for most of it.
Jason
Wow, love to meet your dad sometime.
Nick's face grows solum. He's deployed in Iraq. I don't know when he'll be back.
Jason
Oh...
Nick
Yeah, but there a role cage inside, and custom interior.
Jason
That's awesome! I'm currently working on a 73 Pontiac firebird.
Nick
That's a good car.
Jason
Yep, it's been a challenge though.
Nick
I bet, I know this was. So you race at all?
Jason give Nick a look that says; really?
Nick
Was that a stupid question?
Jason
Kinda, but I wouldn't expect you to know that.
Jason closes the hood of the car.
Jason
We should head back if we want to play some laser tag with them.
Nick
Alright. Let's go.
Nick and Jason start to head back. Their friends had gotten tired of waiting and had gone inside. They enter the building and notice their group of friends at the cafeteria. They wave Jason and Nick over.

Amanda
Over here!
Jason starts to walk over to the group.
Nick
I'll be there in a sec.
Nick walks off to in the direction of the restrooms.
Michelle
So how long do we plan on being here? I need to let my parents know what time I'll be back.
Trevor
Tell them you'll be out late.
Jason
If you want, you can stay at my place. Amanda is already coming over. You too can either sleep in the guest rooms or down in the basement.
Michelle
Alright, I'll let them know.
Michelle walks off to the side of the room, dialing her phone as she walks off.
Amanda
I don't know what she wants to do, but in staying in the basement. It's way cooler than the guest rooms.
Jason
That is very true.
Michelle walks back to the group.
Michelle
My parents said I could stay, as long as Amanda is there also.
Amanda
Don't worry, I will be. Where do you want to stay? In the basement, or in the guest rooms?
Michelle
Basement! That was a stupid question.
The group starts to laugh.
Jason
I guess my basement is a popular spot.
Nick walks up from the restrooms.
Nick
What's so funny?
Jason
We were just discussing how my basement is a popular spot.
Nick
Is it cool?
Amanda and Michelle
(Together)
Yes!!!
Nick
What's so great about it?
Jason
Well, I have pretty much a home theater down there, ping pong, pool table, it's pretty much an entertainment room.
Nick
That sounds awesome! I'll have to check it out sometime.
Jason
Yeah! You should!
Amanda
Why don't you come over with us? Michelle and I are staying there.
Jason
Good idea Amanda! What do you say? I got plenty of room.
Nick
Alright, I'll tell my family I'll be out tonight. Are you sure your parents will be fine with this?
Jason
My parents are gone for a month. They said I could have people over as long as the house was clean when they got back.
Nick
Awesome!

Ext - Jason's house - evening
Amanda pulls into Jason's driveway, scraping the underside of the car as she does. Jason looks up from the brake system that he had been working on. Jason sets down the brake rotor and stands up. He grabs his can of soda and walks over to Amanda. Amanda opens her car door and steps out.
Amanda
Hey!
Amanda shuts the car door and walks towards Jason who is now leaning against the garage door.
Jason
Hey! I would give you a hug, but we wouldn't want to get that pretty little dress dirty.
Amanda
Haha yeah, guess I should've worn my work clothes.
Jason
So what brings you to my neck of the woods?
Amanda
Carson. It was on the news earlier.
Jason
Yeah, I saw it. Sucks.
Amanda
How you holding up?
Jason
Considering he's my cousin, ok I guess. Working on my car helps.
Amanda
Speaking of which, how's it coming?
Jason
Pretty good actually.
Jason leads Amanda into the garage and over to where he had been working.
Jason
Radiators in, engine runs, and I'm working on the last corner of the brake system.
Amanda
What's left to do then?
Jason
Suspension, that should be coming tomorrow. Then there's just the test drive. I want to test out the new turbo.
Amanda walks over to the fridge in the garage and grabs a soda. Jason bends down and continues to work on the brakes.
Amanda
So how much longer are you going to be doing this?
Jason
(Grunting)
Just...about...there!
The brake caliper snaps into position.
Jason
Now I just have to tighten the bolts and I'm done.
Jason quickly inserts the bolts and tightens them down.
Jason
Ok, I'm done.
Amanda drinks the rest of her soda and tosses it in the trash can.
Amanda
Good. Let's go.
Amanda begins to walk out of the garage. She stops and turns around and looks at the grease covered Jason.
Amanda
But, change first. Your filthy.
Jason
Fine, but where are we going?
Amanda gives a slight smile.
Amanda
You'll find out.
Jason smiles back and shook his head. Jason walks back inside his house and down to his room. He quickly changes out of his greasy clothes and puts on a new set. As he's running out the door, he grabs his wallet and leather jacket.
Amanda
There you are slow poke.
Jason walks over to Amanda. Amanda jumps up from where she had been leaning against her car and hugs Jason.
Amanda
Now your not grubby.
Jason
Yeah, I feel clean and I don't like it.
Amanda walks over to the passenger door and opens it. She tosses the keys to Jason and gets into the car. Jason catches the keys and walks over to the driver door, opens it, and slides in next to Amanda.
Jason
So where are we going?
Amanda
Laser tag downtown. We're meeting some people there.
Jason
Who's going to be there?
Amanda
You, me, Trevor, Adam, Michelle, Stacy, and I think Adam said there was a new kid at school that he was bringing. Oh what was his name?
Jason starts up the car and backs out of the driveway. Jason shifts the car into 1st. Jason looks over at Amanda.
Jason
Can I?
Amanda shakes her head and smiles.
Amanda
Go ahead, just don't crash.
Jason revs the car, dumps the clutch, and hits the brakes with his left foot. The car jolts forward for a moment, then starts to squeal. Smoke starts to pour out of the rear wheel wells. Jason lets off the brake and the car slowly moves forward as it tries to regain traction. The car's tires suddenly grip and the car launches forward.
Jason
Gotta love that.
Amanda
You're crazy.
Jason
Yeah, but who wants to be normal? That's boring.
Amanda
One of these days your going to end up like Carson.
Jason falls silent and continues to drive.
Amanda
Sorry, I shouldn't have said that.
Jason
It's fine.

Ext - Jason's house - afternoon
Jason slowly pulls into the driveway of his two story house. Rain slowly starts to come down as Jason enters the  3 car garage. Jason's mother and father walk into the garage.
Mom
Hi honey. How was school?
Jason shrugs his shoulders
Jason
Eh, it was ok I guess. It would be better if there were more hands on material instead of book work.
Jason's father walks over to Jason's firebird and looks in the engine bay.
Dad
Going to finish this project up?
Jason
Yep, I hope to finish it by the end of the week.
Dad
Good, then I can get working on my camero again.
Mom
We should get going, we don't want to miss our flight.
Jason
(Confused)
Where are you two going?
Dad
Remember? Your mother and I are going on our vacation to Europe.
Jason
Oh! That's right! I completely forgot that was today.
Mom
We will be back in a month. There's a list of chores that will need to be done on the fridge.
Dad
And I put money into your bank account for food. Have fun!
Jason
Can I have any friends over?
Mom
That's fine, just make sure that the house is spotless when we get back though.
Jason
Fine.
Jason's parents climb into the dodge pickup waiting in the driveway. The dodge backs up out of the driveway and cruises down the road. Jason waits for a money after the truck Is out of sight, then he walks into the house. Jason stops inside the door and takes in the refreshing A/C.
Jason
(Relieved)
Ah! Much better than the humid May weather.
Jason walks threw the kitchen, into the living room, and throws down his back pack onto the couch. Jason walks back into the kitchen.
Jason
Time for some food.
Jason opens the fridge door and looks in. He grabs some leftover ham. Jason grabs the barbecue sauce on the fridge door. Jason walks away from the fridge and sits down at the counter. Jason turns the tv on at flips it over to the news.
News reporter
...in other news, a local teenager was arrested last night for street racing on Kennedy St.
The teenager's picture pops up on the screen.
News reporter
He ran from law enforcement when they showed up and is now facing time for resisting arrest.
Jason choked on the last price of meat that he was eating.
Jason
(Whispers)
Carson!
Jason switches off the tv and sets his plate in the sink. Jason then walks into the garage and over to his car.
Jason
Well, I can't do much for Carson now.
Jason picks up a wrench and begins to work on the firebird.

FADE IN:

Int - school - morning
The bell rings, signaling the start of class. The halls are empty. Suddenly, Jason, a 17 year old boy runs around the corner carrying his backpack. He turns and enters a classroom.
Jason
(Out of breath)
Sorry I'm late Ms. Hansen. I missed the bus.

Ms. Hansen
Easy there Jason, it's alright. Take your seat, we are just getting started.
Jason takes his seat next to his best friend Amanda. She doesn't look up when Jason sits down.
Amanda
(Whispers)
Your late, again.
Jason
(Annoyed)
I miss the bus, what's the big deal?
Amanda
(Continues to whisper)
The big deal is that you always miss the bus.
Jason
I do not!
Ms. Hansen turns and looks at Jason and Amanda.
Ms. Hansen
(Sarcastically)
I'm sorry, am I interrupting your conversation?
The class begins to snicker.
Ms. Hansen
(Sternly)
That's enough class! Amanda, Jason, this is your last warning. I do not tolerate talking during my class.
The class falls quiet and the lesson continues.

Ext - schoolyard - afternoon
The final bell rings. Kids begin to pour out the front doors. Jason exits the building closely followed by Amanda.
Jason
Want to come over? I'm going to be working on the firebird some more.

Amanda
Again? You've been working on that thing for months!
Jason
There's still a lot more to be done.
Amanda
What needs to be done still?
Jason
Well, The suspension needs to be put in, brakes, turbo radi-
Amanda
(Loudly)
Okay! I get it! Your making my head hurt!
Jason smiles.
Jason
You asked.
Amanda
Remind me next time not to. Well, as much as I would love to help, but I just remembered, my parents want me to do some chores when I get home.
Jason
Your a terrible lier.
Amanda cracks a smile.
Amanda
Yeah, I know. I'll see you later.
Amanda walks off to her car. Jason watches her walk off for a second then turns and walks over to his parents silver Honda. He starts up the car and pulls out of the parking lot.
We stopped again and did another quick start. This time my friend left traction control on. We had a pretty good launch, but when we hit third gear, we had so much power that the back end lost traction for a second even with traction control on. When we were coming down the hill, there were some washboard sections in the road just as you were hitting a downhill turn. I could hear the back end fighting to grab traction as we flew around the 15 mile/hour corner at about 30.

The other day I was coming into my driveway from school. I noticed a Red 2000 ford mustang sitting over by my chevy blazer. It was my friend Lance. I climbed out of the car and walked ver to him. he told me he stopped by to check out the blazer and was just about to leave. I asked him what he had planned for the rest of the day and he said that he was just on his way home and didnt have anything planned. I asked him if he wanted to hang for a bit and he said that he could for a few minutes. He told me that he wanted to show me something with his mustang. It was a nice day so the windows were rolled down. We climbed into the car and he started it up. The mustang had a aftermarket exhaust with an aftermarket K&N air intake, so the car sounded really nice. we were crusing down the road hovering around 2500RPM, apperently that was enough to get people to turn their heads. Even if you aren’t a car person you couldn't deny that the mustang sounded nice. we headed out to the back roads. We climbed a hill, once at the top. my friend stopped the mustang and turned off the traction control located next to the cup holders in the center piece between the two front bucket seats of the car. I braced myself against the seat as my friend reved the engine up to 3 grand a couple of times. His mustang must have had an aftermarket camshaft in it because the engine had an unusually fast rev. After revving the engine a few times, he let off the clutch and them immediately hit the gas, pushing it to the floor. The mustang broke loose in the back end and we began to move, we were doing a burnout for probably a good twenty feet, that's when we got full traction. When that happens, I was forces back into my seat.  Every time my friend changed gears, the car would start to slow and my body moved forward away from the seat, then he would hit the next gear and I would hit the seat with my back once again. In no time at all we were doing about 110 when we had to slow down for the Corner. We drove by the house that that's he guy whou screwed me over lived. We flipped his house off as we flew past doing about 90. When we reached skamainia county, we turned around a and headed back in the other direction. We hit probably 100 on the way back.
The RPM dropped back down to 5k. I hit redline again and I performed the exact same shift into fourth gear. We were just reaching the turnoff for 162nd street. the BMW pulled into the turn lane and started to slow down. When i saw this I looked down at the spedometer. It read 120 and I was at redline again. I quickly slowed down before I was seen by the cops and continued home. I was tied with the BMW the entire way.
It was a night during my sophomore year. prom had just taken place and a group of my friends had gone to sharis in vancouver off of mill plain. while our group was waiting for a table to open up for us, Caleb, Cameron, I, and a few girls decided to walk over to starbucks and the gas station to get some energy drinks and coffee. Caleb had taken one of the girl’s tiaras and was wearing it on top of his head. We were making our way over to the cross-walk at the intersection when caleb randomly runs off and into the middle of the road. we turned and watched as our friend dashed across the street, and avoiding cars. once he reached the sidewalk, we continued to walk towards the intersection. While we were waiting, caleb was at the other side of the street doing one of his random posses. Suddenly, we started to hear car horns. Cameron and I turned and looked at each other confused as to what was going on. That’s when we realized, the people in the cars thought that Caleb was gay. Cameron, the girls, and I start to laugh. Then the light changed and we were able to cross the street. We walked across the street and met up with Caleb. Caleb wanted to go and get some coffee so I said that I would go with him. I gave Cameron a few bucks for a drink and walked into starbucks with Caleb. Turns out that they were just closing so they kicked us out. We ran across the street to the gas station and got a few drinks with Cameron. By the time we made it back to Sharis, the group that we were with had already been seated. We had a jolly good time, at least up until the part where my mom started to complain that it was late and that I needed to be home by one. I reluctantly got up and said goodbye to my friends and headed out the door to my car. I climbed in and fired up the honda. Now I have a lead foot so i normally drive fast. I had just gotten onto 14. I moved into the fast lane to get around a BMW. When I had started my pass, I heard the BMW downshift and start to pull away. I thought to myself, I cant pass this up! So I downshifted from fifth gear down to second. I was only in second gear for a moment before the RPM hit readline. instead of doing a normal shift, I never let up off the gas. instead, i pushed the stick out of gear, while i was starting to engage the clutch. I timed it perfectly where when the clutch engaged, I was putting the car into third gear.

Just got back from camping. It was a long night with a very long day afterwards. I got plenty wet during the day due to the amount of rain. Still, it was a lot of fun

Thursday

Thursdays, other wise known as pre Friday. This is the day that you wake up to super excited about the end of the week, then it all comes crushing down when you realize that there is still one more day to go. My Monday went exactly as expected. I woke up an hour and a half earlier than I should have. This was all because I had a pretty bad headache. I was laying in bed for a little bit before I finally decided to get up and take some aspirin. After grabbing the medicine, I went back to my room and lay back down on my "bed." The clock read 0515. I was laying down for a long while, the last time that I looked at the clock it was 0545. The next thing I knew, my mom was banging down my door. Not literally, though. I quickly looked at the clock, 0700. I panicked a little. I was supposed to be out the door in 10-15 minutes. I jumped out of bed and quickly hopped into the shower. When done with my shower, I got dressed. Just as I was done, my brother and mom were already out the door. Brushing my teeth didn't take long and I was soon out the door as well. The car ride was the same as always. My mom was playing the music up high enough that it was difficult to hear my music at half volume. And then my brother and mom would play these stupid games that the radio station had. Then they would go into a discussion about it. The station that my mom listens to is 104.1 the FISH. She says she listens to it because it doesn't have the edgy music that is played nowadays. But the station has probably forty percent commercials, fifty percent talking, and ten percent music. The station will play two, maybe three songs, then it will go into either a ten minute commercial break, or a short talk, THEN a ten minute commercial break. Such a pain. When we get to school, not one minute after getting out of the car, I get yelled at by the crossing guard for not using the crosswalk. Little does she know that I really don't give a shit. Waiting around for class is always a pain. There's nothing to do and no one was there that I really care to talk to. Class finally came, and civics class was the same as always. We had a short discussion with our teacher, then we worked on some handouts that we were givin to complete in class. I finished early, and then was waiting around for the rest of the class to finish. Class ended finally, and I got into my moms car with the rest of the kids that go to skill center. Man I hate carpooling. I need to get behind the wheel of a vehicle soon or I'm going to go crazy. Skill center went fine, finished a customer vehicle, and almost made the mistake of leaving a coat hanger on the suspension spring behind one of the wheels. Got that all fixed up just after the bell had rung. I got back into the car. I was the last one and so I was stuck in the back. Got to English class early and just stood around waiting to get yelled at by a teacher for being in the halls when we weren't supposed to. Got lucky and didn't get yelled at, which surprised me. English class was boring, like usual. Got in a few Smartass remarks. I have a feeling that my teacher is starting to lose his patience with me. But he does recover quickly from my comment a so it's hard to tell. After a long day of school, I was stuck in the car waiting for my brother to get out of his consultation. When that was over, we headed home. Didn't get back until 1700. I was only able to play half an hour of Xbox before I was kicked off. Not enough time to even finish one game of battlefield three. Dinner soon came afterwards. And following dinner was my usual chores of cleaning up afterwards due to the fact that I am pretty much my moms slave until I can drive again. After all my chores were done, my dad, brother and I sat down in the living room to watch another episode of Firefly. This is now one of my top tv shows if not number one. It became time for me to hit the hay. And sleep soon followed.

Wens day

Today was a different wens day than normal. Today, I woke up at nine twenty. This is earlier than I normally wake up. Normally I would wake up at quarter till ten, or at ten. By the time that I had woken up, my mother had already left for work. I remembered that she started at nine. My dad was in his usual place in front of the computer in his office on a conference call, and my brother was still in his room. I followed my normal morning tradition getting ready for the day. I started off with a nice hot shower followed by a light breakfast. For breakfast I decided to have a banana and some yogurt. The banana was slightly brown from sitting for a few days. The yogurt was a mixed berry flavor that was delicious. After eating, I read the note that my mom had left for me on the counter. Like usual, it was a list of chores that she wanted me to do, homework that had to be done, and a list of stuff that I couldn't do. Even though I'm a senior in high school and 18, my mom still treated me like I was ten. Always giving me a bedtime (something that I ignored almost every day), turning in my electronics at night, and constintly complaining about the small amout of language in my music. If she thinks country is bad, then she doesn't wat to listen to what most kids listen to nowadays. Why do my parents have to be the super good people that follow the rules to the letter and freak out if something doesn't follow the same rules that they do. Complete bullshit if you ask me. I finished all my homework in no time, like usual. It's hard for me to get the required amount of hours needed to pass a class just because I normally get the homework done fairly quickly. I know that I could have a high GPA and everything if I tried, but I really don't care at all. Most of the stuff that i have learned in highschool I am never going to use ever again. For example, art. I fucking hate art class. There is no point in it being a required class to take in order to graduate. I will never draw, paint, or do any type of art ever again once I'm graduated. Same goes with history. The only class that I am going to come close to applying is algebra. Anyways, I messed around pretty much for the next few hours before heading to my art class. I didn't have skill center since it was a half say for evergreen school district. During art class I learned absolutely nothing of importance and pretty much wasted three hours of my time total with driving to and from class, and then class itself. When I got home, I had time to play a small amount of Xbox before I was forced to make dinner. What I don't understand is that my brother has way more free time than I do and I'm the one that gets stuck with extra chores. Dinner was made, and after dinner my family decided to watch some tv. I stayed for the first half hour, then got bored and went to my room to go to bed.
Vehicles at not simply machines, they are also have a presence in this world. Not many people relealize this, but there still are a few people that do. You will mainly see these people are mechanics and racers mostly. But not just any mechanic and racer, no. The few that do are ones that actually listen to the vehicle speak. They understand the vehicle. They know what the vehicle likes, doesn't like, and what's wrong. Cars are a prime example. When pushed to their limits, a car will speak to its driver. The driver then knows what the car is saying, and responds in kind. Cars also have attitudes. These attitudes can be classified in two different categories, male and female. Pretty much to find out which one a car is? Listen to its behavior, and then compare that to both a typical male behavior, and a typical female behavior. Which one best fits the car? Many of you that read this will think that I am crazy. Hopefully one day you will understand.

Austin and Jeremy entered the cave a moment later.
"Why don't we stay here for the night"? Austin asked. "The sun is going to set in about 45 minutes, and I doubt we will find a better place to stay for the night. Therese a water source, and plenty of cover."
I looked down at my watch, 1650.
"Wow! I didn't realize it was this late," I though to myself. "Ok," I said aloud. "Sounds like a plan to me."
Jeremy agreed with Austin's suggestion also.
"Alex, go collect some wood to start a small fire, nothing to big though, we want to stay hidden remember. Austin, go lay down some traps to give us a heads up if someone does come along during the night, or something. I'll work on getting some food ready."
Austin grabbed his rifle and exited the cave. I left the cave just behind him. Austin walk back to the trail and started down the path that we had been following for the past half a day. I decided to follow the hill around to look for some wood.
I figured that at the base of the hill would be my best bet. I thought this because if a tree was to fall, it would slid down the hill, therefor, there should be plenty of wood.
It wasn't long before I came across a dead tree laying across the ground. I walked up to it and started to pull of small twigs, and lightly larger branches for the fire. I grabbed a nice arm load and started back towards the cave.
Once in seaside, my dad and I met up with my friend and his family. We walked around for a few hours, then my dad and I decided to get some lunch. We walked the half mile to the van and drove across the street to the McDonald's. Now we had brought our own lunches but we went to McDonald's anyways to use the wifi.
After sitting in the car for around fifty minutes, my dad decided to buy some drinks. It was around this time that I realized that I had parked the mini-van just a bit to far away from McDonald's for a good wifi connection. Since I could really use the Internet, I decided to watch a movie. The movie that I chose was "National Treasure 2 Book of Secrets." After about 5 minutes of watching the movie, my dad came back with the drinks. Now every time I get a soda from McDonalds, I always get a large Dr. Pepper with NO ice, a personal favorite. My dad always drinks a diet coke. If there was no diet coke, then he wouldn't get a soda. period.
Soon after we were done eating, my dad and I went back to the car show to go watch the cruise that was going to happen later that after noon. But in the meantime, we continued to look at all of the cars that were still on display.
Pretty soon the car show cruise had begun and my father and I stood at one of the intersections that the cars drove by. The show lasted around an hour, but most of the cars in the show stopped driving around about twenty minutes before that. When that happened, me, my dad, my friend, and my friends family went to a pizza restaurant on the corner that my dad and were standing at not long ago.
After eating pizza, my friend and I went over to his '67 ford bronco and brought it back to the parking garage for the hotel that he was staying at.
Finally after a long day of walking, my dad and I finally got to our camping spot in Astoria and stayed the night there.
   In the morning,

Dear apple,

I am writing this letter in regards to the new iOS 7 update. With the new update, I am unable to make my COMPLETE photo into my wallpaper. Please fix this issue. Every time I try to change my wallpaper, the photo I select gets magnified to a point where the photo is completely useless as a wallpaper. If I want to have the photo magnified, then the user is fully capable of doing it him/herself.
Don't think, just do. Society tells us how to behave and look. The key to bringing down the door is to be who you chose to be. Whether that is a good thing or a bad thing. The person you chose to be may be hated by society, but you will, in the end, be free. Life only comes once for us, let us not waste it. Today is a new day and is ment to be lived to the fullest. Yesterday is the past and we should us that to better ourselves for today. Tomorrow
